Fixed head hydrothermal scheduling considering uncertainty of load demand and renewable energy sources

This manuscript suggests quasi-oppositional fast convergence evolutionary programming (QOFCEP) technique to determine short-term generation scheduling of fixed head hydrothermal system comprising pumped storage hydro plants (PSHPs), solar PV (SPVPs) and wind turbine generators (WTGs) with demand response program (DRP). PSHPs are used power (FHPPs), thermal generating units (TGUs), SPVPs WTGs operate conveniently. Uncertainties related renewable generations load demands have been considered. Self-adaptive tent mapped scenarios uncertain parameters generated within higher level confidence space deal the uncertainties. DRP is applied curve enhance flexibility reduce operational cost. Numerical results typical test matched those attained by (FCEP) (EP).
